Oh Great Spirit

Thank you for another day on this beautiful green Earth and allowing me to opportunity to harvest a magnificent creature that I may feed my family and have the spirit of the animal enter into those who would partake in the feast.

Show me the animal you would allow me to take and guide my bullet that it may be true and swift to ensure a clean kill that the animal may not suffer. Help him find his way to you and help me find the best in me, so that when I someday cross the river we may meet again, and again I may thrill at the sight of him.

Thank you for the many blessings you have provided me in this life: the sun, the stars, the trees and grass, and the sweet fresh breeze on my face. Thank you for all of the friends that I met along the pathway of life.

Guide me that I may treat all that I meet with kindness and understanding and and give me strength that I may be able to perform the work you have for me in this journey.
